Tim Atterton

Business, Change Management, Economic Downturn, Entrepreneur, Facilitator, Finance, Recession Proofing, Relationships, Tim AttertonTim Atterton comes a strong family business background in the North-East of England. Despite this pedigree, he enrolled on a Law degree, graduating in 1976. However, he soon determined that the legal profession offered few entrepreneurial challenges and little excitement!

Despite his longstanding Business School affiliation, Tim regards himself as a "practitioner", rather than an "academic", and has been actively involved in establishing and managing a succession of businesses since the age of 16! Over the past two decades, Tim has worked with small and medium sized, independent businesses, and their stakeholders in more than 40 different countries, and has been contracted to work with many prestigious international organizations including the United Nations, the World Bank Group and the European Commission.

Tim is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Business Affairs and a Director of the Australasian Institute of Enterprise Facilitators.

Tim Atterton is widely acknowledged both nationally and internationally as a lively, insightful and highly entertaining public speaker in the areas of entrepreneurship, business re-vitalization and growth.

His reputation is based upon an unparalleled conceptual knowledge of his subject matter; complemented by a catalogue of practical examples and relevant "war stories". In particular, he has the ability to tailor presentations to match defined Conference "themes" and, thus, meet the specific needs and desired outputs of individual organisations and client groups.
