Dr James Eedle

Dr James Eedle was instrumental in activating many of the positive changes in Australia's education system, including establishing the Northern Territory Department of Education and planning the Northern Territory University.
A former President of the Cambridge Society of Australia (Victorian) he is Chair of the Victorian Committee of the Cambridge Australia Trust, supporting young Australians to undertake study and research at Cambridge University. A fellow of the Australian College of Education and a Fellow (and former Vice-President) of the Royal Society of Arts, he is also active in local afairs of the RAAF Association and the Gold Museum Society. He is an Honorary Life Member of the Royal Australian Institute of Public Administration (NT) and the NT Institute of Educational Research.
