Yvonne is the creator of media personality Ms Megabyte – she has a career that spans print, television, radio and the Internet. In the corporate speaking arena, Yvonne presents a keynote address and workshop on her creative thinking style: ‘Popcorn Thinking’. Her mission is to demonstrate to the widest possible audience that everyone can access creative thinking. She says: “Once you turn up the heat, your brain will pop with ideas like never before!”

Ms Megabyte is a regular on national TV where she takes the hard out of hardware, the science out of software and the fear and frustration out of everyday technology.

Back in the mid 90’s, after 6 years at Microsoft, Yvonne started her own consultancy. In Popcorn Thinking mode, she generated ideas to find a wider audience and realised she could use the media to get her message across to an unlimited audience. Enter Ms Megabyte - now a household name and author of best-seller, Conquer Your Computer.

Yvonne was a 2006 finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards and is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (an award recognising credible professionals helping the global community).

Yvonne and Ms Megabyte love getting up in front of an audience and the most common feedback is, ‘She’s a breath of fresh air!’ Though able to talk about most things, Yvonne’s most popular topic is Popcorn Thinking and Mega’s is Taming Technology.
