Maria Carlton

Speaker, Author, Professional Business & Marketing Mentor and Publisher; Maria Carlton has spent over 20 years learning about sales, marketing, advertising, branding and promotion. In 2001, frustrated at a lack of training and literature materials available for her industry she sold her award winning promotional products company and started to write about marketing. This eventually led to her co-authoring a revised version of her first book with David Blaise, from Pennsylvania, USA. The Power of Promotional Products was launched in the USA and Canada early in 2004 and is now an international (Industry) best seller.

She is one of only two authors in Australasia featured in international best seller Create the Business Breakthrough You Want, featuring alongside business giants Brian Tracy, Bob Proctor and Mark Victor Hansen, (endorsed by Dr Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard). These two books have led Maria to become an internationally recognized expert in the area of Brand Communication. In 2004 she began working primarily with Franchisors and Franchisees through her company Compass Development Group Ltd, based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
