Professor Di Fleming

Di Fleming is Director of lab.3000 – innovation in digital design – Victoria’s first centre of excellence hosted at RMIT University.

Prior to her appointment at lab.3000, Di was CEO of Digital Harbour Holdings Pty Ltd and Principal of Kilvington Girls’ Grammar (1993 – 2001). As Principal of Kilvington, Di was the first educator to win the 1998 - 1999 Telstra Victorian Businesswoman of the Year Award and the National Telstra-AusIndustry Award for her work as an innovator.

Di is also a Consultant and Director of Accelerated Knowledge Technologies Pty Ltd; a company engaged in the strategic management of innovation and was an Associate Professor, Principal Research Fellow in the Department of Learning and Educational Development at The University of Melbourne. Di believes that the strength of all organisations lies in "finding the extraordinary in the ordinary" by creating a culture where people can improvise and innovate for both personal and organisational advantage.
