Chris Anstey

Chris Anstey is currently an integral member of the Australian Boomers Basketball Team. Chris,s experiences in the NBA in America, in Russia where he is currently playing, and in many other parts of the world, together with his honesty and quick wit, make him an extremely popular speaker.

Chris was the #18 pick in the 1997 NBA draft - selected by the Dallas Mavericks.

He is the first Australian NBL player ever selected in the NBA draft.

In September 1999 Chris realised a lifelong ambition when he was traded to the famous Chicago Bulls.

Chris is extremely bright, articulate and handles himself very well with the media. He wrote regular feature articles for the Melbourne Herald Sun and presented NBA updates on Sportsworld for the Seven Television Network during his time in America.
