Mandy Barker

Mandy Barker was first chosen for the New Zealand Womens Hockey Team in 1990 when she was in her final year of Secondary School. She went on to play for the country for 11 years and gained 150 caps for New Zealand. She represented NZ at two Olympic Games (Barcelona 1992, Sydney 2000), the World Cup (Holand 1998), the Commonwealth Games (Kuala Lumpur 1998) and Champions Trophy (Holland 2000, 2001).

Since retiring from International Hockey Mandy has been involved in Public Speaking and Television Presenting work. She features on a series of TVC's called 'Zoot Review' and in 1998 co-presented the television programme 'Modern Love'. She has been involved with Canterbury NZ for 4 years and features as a model for their womens' range.

She supports a number of charities including the Cancer Society and has recently decided to lend her name and support to their range of sun and skin care called 'Elements'
