David Adams

Averaging four hours sleep a day, sailing his 50-foot yacht True Blue at maximum speed over 43,200 kilometres, David Adams had a record-breaking win in Class 2 of the 1994-95 BOC Challenge solo around the world yacht race. David has competed in six Sydney-Hobart races, and in 1987 he won Division B of the "Yamaha Osaka Cup" from Melbourne to Osaka. A Master Mariner Class 1 of the Merchant Navy, David has competed in many other yachting events. The world-wide acclaim that followed his recent BOC win has not affected David's natural, unassuming manner. His sincerity and strength of purpose is evident in his presentations.
