Adam Schwab is the co-founder of Luxury Escapes, one of the world’s fastest-growing and most loves travel businesses. With operations in four continents and more than 5600 team members, Luxury Escapes turns over almost $1 billion annually.

Current work:

Outside Luxury Escapes, Adam is a director of Australia’s largest on-line art gallery, Bluethumb.com.au and is an angel investor and mentor to founders across Australia, the UK and the United States.
Since 2004, Adam has been a financial journalist and business commentator specialising in corporate governance, economics and start-ups for SmartCompany, the Australian Financial Review, and has appeared on Sky Business, Today Tonight and Channel Seven News nationally.

Previous experience:

Lawyer: Adam was originally a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers & acquisitions at HerbertSmithFreehills before founding Luxury Escapes with school friend, Jeremy Same.

Director: Adam has been a director of the Myeloma Foundation of Australia since 2010, and has run two Melbourne Marathons completely barefoot to raise funds for the foundation.

Luxury Escapes: Luxury Escapes was named the fastest growing company in Australia by BRW in 2013 and by the Australian Financial Review in 2017. It was also ranked #1 in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 while Adam was the Young CEO of the Year in 2015 and was nominated for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 (Southern Region). Adam has been on the BRW Young Rich list since 2014 and in 2015 and was named a Young Business Leader 2015 by CPA.
