Dan Reilly

Foreman Dan on Channel 9's The Block

Profile

Since his first appearance on the hit reality TV show The Block in 2012 with his wife Dani Wales, Certified ‘Blockhead’ Dan Reilly has well and truly made both a name and a place for himself within the show.

Despite the non-existent renovation experience between them, Dan and Dani completed a very successful renovation on the show, impressively coming 2nd in the series grand finale.

The following year, Dan and Dani headed back to the construction site for The Block: All Stars, where they tackled some of the toughest home reno challenges yet. Putting their skills and relationship to the ultimate test, Dan and Dani blitzed through every obstacle, taking out 3rd place with their 1.5-million-dollar home.

Current Work:

Having realised his passion for all things DIY, Dan soon found himself a permanent role on the show, as a site foreman. Working alongside Scott Cam and Keith Schleiger, Foreman Dan puts his trade experience and credentials to use, keeping The Block worksites safe, organised and on-track.

Following his time on The Block, Dan decided to upgrade his carpentry qualifications, becoming a Certified Master Builder. Dan, together with Dani, run their own design and construction business, Red Door Project.

Red Door Project designs, constructs and renovates stunning houses across Victoria and NSW, finished with Dan and Dani’s signature quality and style.

With his wealth of experience and DIY expertise, Foreman Dan is definitely one to watch as he returns to The Block in 2021.
