She has worked with many teams to understand and apply behavioural science to their teams, including governments, private business, schools and multinational companies. Kerstin has her PhD in workplace gamification, design thinking and systems thinking.

She combines her expertise in design thinking, user research and behavioural science to deliver effective and innovative behavioural solutions. She is passionate about helping organisations and employees thrive by unlocking employee motivation.

Kerstin regularly works with executives, leaders and human resource directors to increase engagement, boost performance, align behaviour with strategy and build a strong and unified culture. Kerstin is a renowned keynote speaker and facilitator in gamification for behaviour change.

She is known for her engaging and energetic style of presentation. Kerstin delivers highly-regarded presentations and workshops on gamification; she has given a TED talk on the power of gamification and presented in Australia, USA, Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Kerstin is a world-leading expert in gamification, both practically and academically. Kerstin has worked with many teams to understand and apply gamification to their staff, clients, and citizens. Her PhD research focussed on gamification as a way to increase engagement and nudge behaviour.

Kerstin is an experienced entrepreneur, having developed and launch several new products and businesses to market. Most notable is her founding and running of PentaQuest, a technology startup delivering gamified SaaS platform to help teams and organisations thrive. Kerstin took PentaQuest from an idea to a functioning business that, over its 4 years of full-time operation, brought in $1.75m in revenue, grew to a core team of 15, developed an award-winning and innovative SaaS platform and included like Amazon in the US, Carsales, Subway, Federal Government departments, and many more.

Kerstin is an active member of the Canberra innovation network and has achieved several awards for her innovation, business, and leadership. Kerstin has been selected as Top 10 finalist in Microsoft Startup Pitch Perfect competition 2021 and Top 10 Finalist in Women in Tech Startups 2019. Her entrepreneurial experiences range from taking an idea from concept to reality, customer testing and validation, business model canvas and development, launching a new product and service to market, leadership and team development, pitching and venture capital.
