Former Australian Diamonds Netball Coach & Expert on High-Performance Culture


Lisa Alexander is the former coach of Australia’s Diamonds Netball team who successfully lead the team to the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Awarded Australian Coach of the Year in 2015, Lisa Alexander has a reputation for her professionalism, drive, and innovative approach to coaching.

Lisa was responsible for developing a high-performance culture around the Australian Diamonds and she considers this a corner-stone of her coaching career.

Current Work:

Lisa Alexander is a thought-provoking keynote speaker, she addresses the important issues of teamwork, leadership and culture in her presentations to audiences of all ages, genders and backgrounds across Australia.

Lisa also regularly consults elite sporting clubs on high-performance culture and has conducted programs on high-performance across Australia.

Previous Experience:

Australian Diamonds: Succeeding Norma Plumber in 2011, Alexander stepped into the role with the ultimate goal of winning the prized titles of Commonwealth Games and World Champions in 2014 and 2015, which she has now successfully achieved.

Awards & Recognition: In the 2021 Australia Day Honours, Lisa Alexander was made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to netball at the elite level.

In 2015 Lisa Alexander was named Australian Coach of the Year and in 2014 AIS Coach of the Year.
