Mr. Luke Richmond

One Life. One Chance

Profile

After serving his country with the Australian Army, Luke hit his rock bottom. Succumbing to drug addiction, he woke up in jail while being hosed down by police with no idea how he had gotten there. His story from the lowest of lows to the highest mountains on earth is powerful, compelling and much needed in society today.

He shares lessons of confronting death, controlling fear, gratefulness and high-risk decision making amongst many others. His overarching theme is One Life One Chance and Luke brings his passion and inspiring stories to the stage. He is a best-selling author and keynote speaker who is not slowing down anytime soon.

With larrikin charisma he shares his stories about climbing six of the biggest mountains on earth, rowing 6400 kilometres across the Atlantic Ocean setting a Guinness World Record, dragging a cart 1800 kilometres across the Gobi Desert over 57 days and throwing himself from cliffs and buildings in the sport of B.A.S.E jumping. He has seen death before his eyes, been held captive in the jungles of Papua and found gratefulness in extreme physical hardship.
