Previous experience
Taking up beach volleyball in 1994, she won a silver medal at the World Championships in Brazil and made history with the first ever Olympic Bronze medal for the sport in Atlanta before her upset Gold Medal win, with partner Kerri Pottharst, at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
