Pallavi is a multi-award winning Lawyer, Notary Public & Academic, and AFR & Westpac 100 Woman of Influence. She currently works as a keynote speaker, MC and Event Facilitator.

Pallavi has worked across NSW, in the private, public and community sector including as a Solicitor for King & Wood Mallesons, as a Research Assistant/Tipstaff for Justice Kirby, as a Legal Mediator at CatholicCare & an Executive Officer at Migration Institute of Australia. She is the Founder & Principal of Lawyers with Solutions, a multi-disciplinary firm offering education/training, policy, strategic &/or legal services. In 2018, she won a Corporate Vision Business Innovator Award.

Previous Experience

Education: Pallavi has lectured for universities such as the University of Sydney, Australian National University, Macquarie University, Western Sydney University & Australian Catholic University, including as the Convenor of Advanced Administrative Law & Advanced Topics in Public Law at Macquarie University.

Charity and Philanthropy: Pallavi has also been a Spokesperson for disadvantaged groups, presented submissions before Government Committees, and positively contributed to changes to Government policy to increase access to justice. She has served on several Boards, and currently serves on the NSW Ministerial Council for Women’s Economic Opportunity, and the Multicultural Consultation Council of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board. Pallavi is also an Appointed Supporter of the Joint Federal & State Government campaign to stop Domestic or family violence (DV). In addition, she was the first Indian Australian woman to be appointed as a People of Australia Ambassador by the Federal Government, and is a former Lifeline Counsellor.

Media: A popular and well-known speaker and media commentator, Pallavi has spoken at Global and National Conferences. She participated in the Ethics Centre Intelligence Squared Debate with Stan Grant, Rita Panahi & Jack Thompson, which was broadcast on ABC TV & BBC World. She has appeared on Skynews, ABC TV Q & A, The Drum & the 7.30 Report and BBC World. Her opinion pieces have been widely published, including by the SMH, ABC & SBS. One of her articles reached over 250,000 accounts on social media
